M&P Tracking Number Format & How to Find It
All about your M&P CN number: why it needs at least 7 digits, where to find it on a receipt or SMS, and how to fix common typing mistakes.
The format facts on this page come from M&P Express Logistics’ own public tracker (mulphilog.com). We do not guess at prefixes or barcode patterns that we cannot check.
1. What Is an M&P Tracking Number?
M&P calls its tracking number a Consignment Note Number (CN Number). It is a number given to a parcel when it is booked at an M&P courier centre or by a shop’s booking system.
The number is used for three things while the parcel is on its way:
- Custody Tracking: Each time the parcel moves between hubs or vehicles, M&P staff scan this number to record where it is.
- Customer Search: Senders and receivers type it into a tracker to see if the parcel is booked, on the way or out for delivery.
- Delivery Verification: The rider checks the number on the flyer or box against the delivery list before getting a signature or collecting cash.
2. How Many Digits Is an M&P Tracking Number?
People often ask how long an M&P number should be. We do not guess at patterns. We follow the rule M&P’s own tracker uses.
Official Input Specification
M&P’s tracker asks for at least 7 digits. Some business bookings may have longer numbers. Anything shorter than 7 digits is turned down as incomplete.
- Minimum Length: 7 digits.
- Characters: Numerical digits (0–9).
- No spaces or dashes: type the number as one run of digits.
- Digits only: M&P’s tracker asks for numbers, so leave out any letters or words such as “CN”.
Note: be careful with websites that say every M&P number has the same length. Length can differ between counter receipts and business accounts.
3. Where to Find Your M&P CN Number
Where to look depends on whether you booked the parcel or ordered from a shop:
If you sent the parcel (counter receipt)
When you book at an M&P courier centre, you get a customer copy of the receipt. The number is printed in two places:
- Under the large barcode at the top of the receipt.
- In the “CN Number” box in the booking details.
If you are receiving the parcel (SMS or online order)
If a shop or company is sending you a parcel:
- Look for an SMS from “M&P” or from the shop with your booking number.
- Check the shipping email from the online shop.
- Look in your order page, in the “Shipped” section.
4. Lost Your M&P Tracking Number?
Without the number, no tracker can find your parcel. Here is what to do:
If you are the receiver:
Ask the shop or person who sent the parcel. They have the booking record or receipt and can send you the CN number quickly.
If you sent the parcel and lost the receipt:
Go back to the M&P courier centre where you booked it. Take your CNIC and tell them the delivery city, the receiver’s name and roughly when you booked. The staff can look it up for you.
5. Common Typing Mistakes
If the tracker says your number is not valid, check for these mistakes:
- Using the shop’s order number: Shops give their own order numbers, such as #ORD-89421. M&P cannot track these. Make sure you use the M&P CN number.
- Fewer than 7 digits: Check that you did not miss a digit at the start or end when copying.
- Accidental Spaces: Copying from an SMS can add hidden spaces or a full stop. Paste it as plain text or type it by hand.
