M&P Returned to Shipper (RTS): What It Means and What to Do
Seeing “Returned to Shipper” on an M&P parcel you were waiting for is frustrating. Here is why it happens and what you can still do.
Why M&P Sends a Parcel Back
A parcel is usually returned for one of these reasons:
- The rider tried to deliver but nobody was home, or the phone was not answered.
- The address was incomplete, so the rider could not find it.
- The receiver refused the parcel or did not pay the cash on delivery amount.
- The sender asked for the parcel to be returned.
Can You Still Stop the Return?
Sometimes, if you act quickly. As soon as you see a failed delivery or a return status, call M&P on (021) 111-202-202 (Monday to Saturday, 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM). Ask whether the parcel is still at your local branch and whether it can go out again. Have your tracking number, full address and phone number ready. You can also email contact@mulphilog.com.
If the Parcel Has Already Gone Back
Once the parcel is on its way back or has reached the sender, it cannot be delivered to you under the same booking. Contact the sender or the online shop. They can book it again with a new tracking number, or arrange a refund if you paid in advance.
How to Avoid a Return Next Time
- Give a full address with house number, street and a well-known landmark.
- Use a phone number that you keep switched on during M&P delivery hours.
- Track the parcel and call M&P the same day if you see a failed attempt.
